SHRIMP AND SAUSAGE JAMBALAYA

Colourful & spicy

 

Ingredients:

• 1 onion, diced

• 1 large green pepper, diced

• 2 cloves garlic, minced

• 1/4 teaspoon chilli

• 2 tablespoons butter

• 3 cups cooked rice

• 2 cups large shrimp, cooked and cleaned (about 500 grams)

• 2 cups cubed spicy cooked sausage (about 500 – 650 grams)

• 1 x 500 gram can peeled tomatoes, chopped

• 1 teaspoon FIRETREE LIQUID SMOKE

• 2 tablespoons green onions finely sliced (garnish)

 

 

Directions:

Heat butter in large skillet

Add onion, pepper, garlic and red pepper and cook til until tender.

 Stir in remaining ingredients except green onions. Cook for 10 to 15 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.

Garnish with spring onions.
